Hired into a newly created position to provide leadership and oversight of all aspects of educational and workforce development programs, services, and spaces. Ensure diversity, equity, and inclusion in all aspects of those programs, services, and spaces. As a member of the Executive Director’s senior team, I play a key role in developing and carrying out the Library’s comprehensive vision and strategies and work closely with all library divisions to carry them forward and ensure that organizational effectiveness is maximized.• Directs research and special studies to assess community educational needs and design equitable and optimal service delivery methods. Coordinates change management, project management, and evaluation for educational services that will address current and future needs.• Assists in the development of the annual budget of the Lexington Public Library in coordination with other members of the senior team to support the strategic goals of the organization. • Oversees the annual budget areas within Education Department.• Engages and partners with organizations and businesses to expand the Library’s ability to serve the community. These associations enable richer services, faster or more efficient allocation of resources, and/or avenues to underserved populations.• Led 8-month project to and design and implement the state-of-the art Kloiber Foundation STEAM Lab.
