Clarissa Coleman is Head of Arbitration and a partner in the Complex Commercial Litigation and Disputes group at DAC Beachcroft’s London office. DAC Beachcroft LLP won the British Arbitration Team of the Year in 2022/2023. Legal 500 ranks Clarissa as a Leading Partner in International Arbitration. Clarissa has huge experience (private practice and in-house) of claims relating to private equity structures, fee agreements, shareholder agreements, failed joint ventures, regulatory investigations and contractual disputes. Clarissa acted for Mr Tinkler in the public boardroom dispute between him and Stobart Group Plc. Clarissa was seconded as Deputy General Counsel to ENRC plc, a FTSE 100 mining company, where she managed a multi-jurisdictional investigation into claims of fraud, bribery and corruption. She spent 2 years in-house as Head of Litigation for Vincent Tchenguiz (CBG). Clarissa co-ordinated the response to a high profile dawn raid and planned the judicial review against the SFO, which dropped its investigation and settled with Tchenguiz for an undisclosed amount. Clarissa has been listed as a leading lawyer for the UK since 2017 in Who\'s Who Legal: Investigations and the Expert Guides’ Women in Business Law.
