About Clarine Nardi Riddle
I am an accomplished legislative, regulatory and litigation strategist who chairs Kasowitz’s Government Affairs and Strategic Counsel group. I regularly draw on my wide-ranging experience in the legislative, executive and judicial branches as former United States Senate Chief of Staff to Senator Joseph I. Lieberman and as the first female state Attorney General of Connecticut to provide effective legal, strategic and policy advice to national and international clients on matters at the intersection of law, business and public policy. With extensive experience at the local, state and federal levels of government, my counsel and advice has been sought in virtually every major area of public policy, including national and homeland security, foreign policy, fiscal policy, real estate and housing, environmental protection, human rights, civil justice, health care, trade, energy, cybersecurity and taxes. Known as an advocate for bipartisan problem-solving, I have a solid record of collaborating with the White House and decision makers on both sides of the aisle to shape legislation, craft regulations, and secure the approval of executive and judicial nominations. In addition to working with various political action committees and trade associations, I have coordinated public policy campaigns, including advocacy groups and grassroots networks, to proactively advance major legislative and regulatory goals.
