Diverse experience in public and private sectors. All roles included estimating of project budgets as well as managing through punch out. Public work as a MBE prime contractor with GSA, Army core of Engineers, and National Guard Bureau. Project scopes from ground up and $5-10 Million. Subcontracting as well as managing in house crew labor at prevailing wage rates. Private work with general contractors in retail, commercial, and multi-family spaces. A stint in the specialty of site paving, managing projects nationwide on site. As well as a focus on tenant fit out’s for shopping malls. Most recent experience as Estimator/PM in small projects ($5M and under) for local general contractor. Lead team through design build projects, and managed self-perform labor. Of this experience I believe it best to have a strong connection between estimating and management teams, a dialogue that should go both ways with strong communication. I tend to lean towards management versus estimating as I like the field and seeing projects come to life. As I further my career, I see management roles as the target with a focus on milestones and strong communication. I love tech and what it has done for advancing the industry, always looking to learn and grow with trends.As a business owner, taken an industry that was very unfamiliar and master skills in a short time. Focused on auto logistics, I’ve maintained a fleet, HR, Payroll, Implement core values and driven performance. A team of 20 associates over four years excelled at a competitive industry with many obstacles.
