ABOUT CLARENCE HOUSTON

As a Project Manager at Gulfstream Design Group, LLC, I bring a strong background in residential land development and firsthand experience working with national home builders. Building on that foundation, I have expanded my career into civil engineering project management, focusing on providing exceptional client service and delivering successful projects from initial concept through final Certificate of Occupancy (CO)—and every critical step in between. In my role, I work closely with clients, consultants, and agency partners to ensure projects stay on schedule, within budget, and aligned with both technical and regulatory requirements. My responsibilities include managing entitlement and permitting processes, coordinating with design teams, and facilitating construction support services to keep projects moving smoothly toward completion. I am also actively pursuing professional development to broaden my capabilities, including obtaining my FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certification to support drone-based site inspections and data collection. Additionally, I have begun training to become a Florida Certified Stormwater and Erosion Control Inspector, further strengthening my ability to assist with field operations and regulatory compliance.
