About Clarence Forbes
I’m a strategist at heart, but systems are my medium. Across tech, education, financial services, and consumer analytics, I’ve helped organizations build clarity where there was complexity—and confidence where there was chaos. My work lives at the intersection of modeling, measurement, executive storytelling, and cross-functional orchestration. Whether I’m guiding a Fortune 100 brand through LTV (Life Time Value) redesign or helping a leadership team pivot toward AI-enabled decision-making, my focus is the same: durable change built on insight, trust, and strategic rigor. My leadership is grounded in the ECHO framework—Empathy, Curiosity, High Standards, and Ownership. I start with people, ask deeper questions, bring structure to ambiguity, and see initiatives through from vision to operational reality. That approach has shaped how I’ve rebuilt strained client relationships, reactivated dormant teams, and scaled frameworks across organizations in ways that outlast organizational charts and reorgs.Across roles, I’ve been entrusted with more than just execution—I’ve been asked to lead through change. At Google, I’ve done that by helping major education and edtech brands rethink their media strategy, build scalable modeling pipelines, and adopt forward-looking governance. At Snap and Meta, I brought structure and experimentation to a privacy-first world. At Citi and GM Financial, I led modeling efforts that supported both regulatory resilience and commercial growth. What connects all of it is a belief that better systems are built when people feel heard, complexity is honored, and the future is architected—not assumed. I don’t just build models or processes—I build trust, and trust scales everything.
Experience
Principal Analytical Lead
Aug 2023 — Present
At Google, I lead strategic analytics engagements for some of the largest education and edtech organizations in North America—supporting executive teams as they transform how they measure, optimize, and scale their marketing investments. My work has spanned multi-quarter initiatives in value-based bidding, lifetime value modeling, media mix optimization, and measurement infrastructure. Across these programs, I’ve helped clients unlock tens of millions in reallocated budget, build scalable modeling pipelines, and establish governance frameworks that embed Google’s tools into core business decisions. Much of this work has required navigating complex data environments, aligning diverse stakeholder groups, and restoring trust after moments of friction.Beyond client-facing work, I’ve also been a key driver of AI enablement inside Google. I developed and delivered an internal workshop series—attended by over 500 Googlers—focused on practical AI use cases for marketing, measurement, and strategic planning. That grassroots effort grew into a broader advisory role, helping cross-functional teams integrate generative AI into their daily workflows. In all of this, I serve as a connector between insight and influence—translating technical depth into business clarity, and building systems that both scale and stick.
