ABOUT CLARE MCGUINNESS
My name is Clare McGuinness, and I am a recent graduate of Fairfield University with a Behavioral Neuroscience major and a Health Studies minor. Over the past few summers, I worked as a camp counselor for children ages 3-6 where I dealt with various behavioral issues. I have also held many leadership positions on campus including being a New Student Leader and the President of the Psychology Club. I was also in the Honors Program and several Honor Societies. I have taken many courses, including Behavioral Neuroscience, Neuropsychology, Introduction to Emotional and Behavioral Disturbances, Developmental Psychology, Psychological Testing, and natural sciences courses including Biology, Chemistry, and Anatomy and Physiology. During my time at Fairfield, I have recognized what I bring to the classroom and the workplace. With my solution-oriented mindset guided by my emotional intelligence, I am motivated to achieve the goals I set as well as help others achieve their own goals. I am currently pursuing my MSc in Clinical Neuroscience from the University of Galway. Through this program, I look forward to growing both my clinical and research skills to better prepare me for my future career.
