I am an accomplished Risk Management professional with over 27 years of experience with four global financial institutions. I possess a broad and in-depth knowledge of retail banking and commercial banking. I am well versed in both UK and US regulations. I have a proven track record of leading teams in the development and implementation of Risk Control Self Assessment programmes, particularly specialising in Credit, Conduct, Fraud and Operational Risk. Past experience also includes internal audit, working to the standards of The Institute of Internal Auditors. I have been the work stream lead as a credit risk and operational risk expert for many major business projects such as platform conversions, portfolio transfers from other banks, establishing change and management governance standards as well as executing portfolio sales. I have been involved in evaluating business practice against FCA CONC requirements and evolving conduct risk metrics for credit risk strategies and key processes across the credit cycle. I was also actively involved in the FCA credit card market study. More recently I have been providing 2nd line oversight of risk across commercial lending, asset finance and investment management.
