About Clare Veren
As a sports communications and marketing graduate from Simpson College, I am passionate about combining my love for sports with my skills in media literacy and communications. Through internships with the Iowa High School Athletic Association as a sports communication and information intern and with Adaptive Sports Iowa through the Iowa Sports Foundation as a program and event intern, I have gained valuable hands-on experience in the sports industry. In addition to my internship experiences, I have honed my skills in social media management, brand design and event management through various on-campus positions. I am driven, reliable and adaptable, always eager to learn and take on new challenges. I am seeking to apply my skills in athletic communications, with a particular interest in marketing and social media, to create engaging and impactful strategies that help sports organizations connect with their audiences.
