ABOUT CLARE THOMPSON
I\'m a self-motivated, results-driven entrepreneur with over 15 years of experience in business development and sales. I love turning ideas into thriving businesses and have a strong track record of building brands and teams from the ground up. After a decade in Public Relations in London and Sydney, I saw a gap in the market for quality, modern and exciting food in the work place in Sydney. Seizing the opportunity I started Chomp Catering. We went on to build one of Sydney\'s Top 10 catering and events companies turning over $1.5 million in sales before selling and moving to NZ with my family in March 2022. Here in New Zealand, I was recruited to launch a new catering business for Two Raw Sisters, adapting my expertise to a different market and successfully launching a highly-regarded catering service in Christchurch. This experience reinforced my ability to pivot and innovate in a new location. Currently, I’m focused on my Business Development role at Business Mastery. I connect local business owners with our coaching team to help them develop effective strategies, streamline their operations and achieve their goals surrounded by other like minded, motivated local business owners. With 10 years of experience in PR, running my own businesses, and launching the TRS Catering service here in Christchurch, I have a deep understanding of the challenges business owners face. Having been in their shoes, I know what it takes to grow, adapt, and scale a business, and the importance of having the right support and guidance along the way. I help business owners realise the importance of surrounding themselves with the right people who can guide them, support them and build the right mindset to thrive.
