I live in New York City and work as a Senior Copyeditor for Random House Children\'s Books.I received my M.S. in Publishing from Pace University in 2011. I received my B.S. in Business Administration (with a Marketing emphasis), as well as a B.A. in Dance, from the University of California, Riverside in 2010. I worked in the managing editorial department at Simon & Schuster Children\'s Books for nearly twelve years, and in that time I developed and honed my skills in copyediting, proofreading, and project management. I had the pleasure of working on truly amazing children\'s books, including many award-winners and bestsellers, and even a few National Book Award nominees. I also spent one year as the managing editor at Kensington Publishing, where I gained experience working on adult titles across many genres: cozy mysteries, thrillers, true crime, romance, westerns, and historical fiction. I love what I do and look forward to advancing my career. I have been involved in dance since the age of 5 and have taught in various studios, workshops, and programs, specializing in tap and swing dance.
