ABOUT CLARE GRAMS

I have over 20 years’ plus experience in the M&E sector including a range of expertise from Contracts Management, Operations Management, Customer Service Account Management and Regional Account Management. I bring a combined engineering and business background to my role and I adapt this to suit. The role in which I currently reside requires a strong customer service ethos, intuitive organisational skills and an effective communicator across all levels. The role is to work within our existing client base to identify additional service contracts, migration opportunities, small works projects, upgrades and any other additional opportunities by working closely with the regional engineering team. In addition the role requires excellent Business Development skills to build on new business and working partnerships.Working as a Facilities Operations Manager gave me the opportunity to display my existing planning and organisational skills and this has been achieved by running an office of over 50 people. This consisted of engineers, administration staff, Contracts Managers and many large contract portfolios across the UK. I was also responsible for creating and then running the Northern Operations Helpdesk. This has allowed me the opportunity to break down complex information and deliver clear and concise instructions at all levels. I have full knowledge of financials, consumer awareness, budgets, tender processes, HVAC and Building Management Systems.I am also a keen fitness fanatic with a black belt in Tae Kwon Do. I love all the old martial arts film however cheesy they may be, such as Bloodsport and Best of the Best.
