ABOUT CLARE FLINTOFF

Now that I have stepped down from my role as CEO at ASSET Education, I am enjoying supporting schools across the East of England under the Government\'s RISE programme. I believe that we are stronger when we work together and that collaboration across the whole system is what makes a difference to the lives of the young people, the families and communities that we serve. We need to be future-focused hence my work with Schools of Tomorrow and my support for the promotion of Professor John West-Burnham\'s legacy, as his work hugely enriched my thinking and ideas about education and was instrumental in the formation and development of ASSET Education as a values based, outward looking trust focused on empowering young people, through their education, to create a more compassionate, equitable and sustainable world. As educators it is our duty to nurture the humanity in all of us and to promote an optimistic and positive view of the future, one that is full of hope that things can and will be OK.
