My personal passion and professional focus is transforming industrialized animal agriculture to create a more sustainable global food system and a kinder, safer world for animals.With 30 years of leadership, partnership creation, fund development, and project management experience, my journey started in the private sector. The nonprofit field has been my professional home since for me, there\'s no finer place to \"be the change\" I wish to see in the world.Focused on securing transformational gifts and grants, I\'ve developed and nurtured philanthropic partnerships for a major medical center and teaching hospital, companion animal shelters, a wildlife rehabilitation center and hospital, a leading international farmed animal protection group, and now the Good Food Institute.
