ABOUT CLARE BEAVIS

I am an energetic TV development executive, series producer, director and an award-winning creative, with extensive experience of working in broadcast, digital and corporate media.I have developed and produced a range of genres within factual television including pioneering primetime formats and access-led feature documentaries. Recent projects include On Thin Ice (BBC2/iPlayer) and The Man Who Stole The Scream (Sky). I develop and pitch a wide range of factual series and films for all major channels and streamers. I specialise in tackling complex and sensitive subjects, negotiating difficult access and working with vulnerable contributors. At the BBC I spent ten years producing and directing a range of flagship shows including Child of Our Time, Little Angels, The Week The Women Went, Stalkers, Watchdog, Tomorrow\'s World, Trauma and a number of factual series for CBBC.Through Pearl Films I created film and advertising campaigns for brands, charities and businesses and produced and directed high quality short-form films for multi-platforms, with particular expertise in content relating to psychology, mental health and wider social issues.\'One More Minute\' for national charity Child Bereavement UK, won Charity Film of the Year 2019.
