ABOUT CLARA NONNENKAMP

Skilled project manager with over 6 years of work experience. Passionate about bridging divides, my studies have prepared me well for my professional life. Reading Chinese and International Relations at the University of Leeds and Shanghai Jiaotong provided me with deep insights on language, narratives, history, theory and practice.Specialising in security politics during my second year at the Hertie School of Governance, I have transferred academic knowledge into practice by organising the Munich Security Conference (MSC 2018), interning for the German Foreign Office and participating in the summer conference 2017 of the Bundeswehr and the Federal Academy for Security Policy.Having worked in project acquisition and development, proposal writing and fundraising, I am now in my sixth year of full-time employment and excited about the everyday learning on the job. My work experience has allowed me to further develop time management, managing a team, working under high pressure, communication skills (internally, externally, and hierarchically), stakeholder management, diversity & inclusion strategy, staff surveys, process automatisation, and problem solving.
