ABOUT CLARA MOKRY
Clara Mokry’s main focus is on contributing to design a sustainable financial system as well as on European sovereignty and cohesion. Since the sustainable transformation of the economy requires significant global investments, financial market participants need efficient access to reliable and relevant information. Thus, Clara, a political scientist by education, started her career as an ESG analyst for a renowned sustainability rating agency. As Head of ESG Analysis for the leading European credit rating agency, she oversaw an innovative rating approach to monetize ESG impacts of corporate activities throughout the entire supply chain. Currently, her job is to advance the sustainability strategy of Germany’s sovereign fund. Clara advises the Federal government as a personal member of Germany’s Sustainable Finance Committee. She is also a member of the German-Italian Young Leaders Dialogue (Spinelli Forum).
