Claire M. Zangerle is an experienced nurse executive who serves as the Chief Executive Officer of the American Organization for Nursing Leadership (AONL) and the Chief Nurse Executive of the American Hospital Association (AHA). She has served at Allegheny Health Network, The Visiting Nurse Association of Ohio, and the Cleveland Clinic. Her board service is extensive, including serving as a public board member of Rasmussen University, a board member of the Deaconess Foundation Cleveland, and the Animal Protective League Cleveland. She has served on the board of the AONL as an appointed member and representing Region 2 - PA, NY, NJ where she co-chaired both the Workforce Committee and the FAONL Selection Committee.
