About Claire Weaver
I am a Tax Director at Mauldin & Jenkins in their Bradenton, Florida office. I started this position in September 2025. I was a tax partner with the firm of Baker Tilly Virchow Krause since 1996. I practiced in their Private Wealth Group. I left the firm in May 2024. During my years of professional experience, I have provided a full range of tax planning and compliance services to corporations, partnerships, individuals, trusts, and estates. Much of my experience has been in service to family-owned businesses. In addition, I have earned the designations of Certified Specialist in Estate Planning (CSEP) and Accredited Estate Planner (AEP). I am routinely involved in succession planning, estate planning, wealth preservation, the administration of estates, and the preparation of estate, trust, and gift tax returns.I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Millersville University. I am a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants. I served as a board member of the National Association of Estate Planners and Councils (NAEPC), as well as a member of the executive committee of the York County Estate Planning Council, having previously served as its President.
