About Claire Sarnowski
I am a senior at Boston University studying Health Science on the Pre-Medical track. Through diverse leadership roles, I have gained extensive experience with public speaking, fundraising, writing, policy analysis, clinical research, and community engagement.My experiences span from hospital rooms supporting patients and families, to classrooms and community spaces mentoring students, to delivering keynote speeches at national conferences and contributing to research projects aimed at improving health outcomes. I have lobbied on Capitol Hill, collaborated with policymakers to spearhead legislation, and partnered with national nonprofits, youth organizations, and grassroots networks across the United States to champion education, shape policy, and drive civic action.These experiences have deepened my interest in the intersection of medicine and policy. I’m passionate about listening to patients, understanding their needs, and working toward systemic changes that expand access to care for all populations. Building on my current research and clinical shadowing experience, I am seeking additional opportunities to expand my skills and understanding through research positions, internships, and hands-on clinical experiences. I am interested in pursuing a career in medicine that combines effective patient-centered care with education, advocacy, and policy work to create a lasting impact for individuals and communities.
