atai Life Sciences (NASDAQ: ATAI) and Beckley Psytech have entered a strategic collaboration to form AtaiBeckley, a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company on a mission to transform patient outcomes by developing effective, rapid-acting and convenient mental health treatments.We are a clinical-stage biopharma company developing novel treatments for mental health conditions.Reporting to the COO, I lead the global People & Culture function across the US and Europe. I partner closely with the ELT to drive people strategy in support of company growth, M&A activity, and organizational transformation. I oversee the full employee lifecycle, from hiring to offboarding, while ensuring compliance, consistency, and engagement in a remote-first, cross-border environment- Global People Strategy: Shape and deliver the company-wide people strategy aligned to corporate goals and future growth. Act as a key advisor to the ELT on organizational structure, leadership, and people-related risks and opportunities- M&A Integration: Lead the people workstream for M&A, including diligence, employment terms harmonization, organizational design, and cultural integration planning- Compensation & Total Rewards: Guide global compensation and equity strategy, manage benchmarking methodologies, and oversee salary, bonus, and promotion cycles- Performance & Development: Drive performance and succession processes, including leadership competency models, talent reviews, and manager enablement- People Operations & Compliance: Oversee HRIS systems, policy frameworks, global payroll coordination, and lifecycle processes across three jurisdictions- Engagement & Culture: Sponsor initiatives tied to pulse survey insights, lead global engagement interventions, and drive discretionary effort and retention in key teams- DE & I & Employee Relations: Lead inclusive strategy development, advise on complex ER issues, and embed equitable practices across processes and policies.
