About Claire McClanahan

I am a writer / producer with 15 years of experience on various projects from digital media to network television. I\'m comfortable talking to people along the entire spectrum of a project. I\'ve managed budgets, teams large and small, hired and negotiated contracts for crew and talent, created and managed schedules and supervised post-production. I am extremely organized and love managing logistics but am also a creative and storyteller at heart. I enjoy balancing these disciplines. As a segment producer on the primetime special, Conversations with Carlos Watson, my work was honored at the Telly, Gracie Allen and New England Emmy Awards. I produced a short film that went on to screen at the LA Shorts and Arizona Film Festivals, wrote and produced an interactive narrative web series, and freelanced in the digital space for various publishers including Refinery 29, The Atlantic, Time Inc, etc. My work has been recognized at the Cannes Film Festival/Breaking Through the Lens finance initiative, Tribeca Film Institute, Sundance Institute, Athena Film Festival, Nashville Film Festival, Stowe Story Labs, and more.
