I am a real estate and real estate finance specialist. Having spent 16 years advising property companies, developers and corporates across all sectors of the real estate industry from within the legal profession, with a particlular emphasis on real estate finance, I now work within HSBC\'s Real Estate Finance team focusing on Transaction Management and Deal Execution Legal experience includes: Advising a global private equity fund on all UK real estate aspects of the £500m re-financing of a 350 asset portfolio. Acting for joint venture partners on the acquisition of a sq ft retail scheme. Advising an international corporate on the relocation of its European Headquarters taking sq ft office space in south east England. Advising a leading property company on the refinancing of a central London hotel and apartments for £105m. Acting for administrators and a major equity fund on the sale of a leisure complex in the Midlands including two hotels, a casino and restaurant. Advising a German Bank on a range of development and investment transactions including a £32m investment facility for two office buildings in Central London and a £45m facility for the acquisition of real retail space. Advising a clearing bank on a wide variety of investment and development loan facilities including a £39.5m facility secured over a shopping centre in Reading and a £33m development facility for a block of high end residential apartments in central London. Advising a clearing bank on a £160m refinancing of a large industrial property fund. Advising a real estate debt fund on a £33.5m facility to re-finance a loan on a Central London property.
