Driving the development and implementation of the People Strategy enabling and facilitating the achievement of ABRSM’s strategic aims and objectives whilst promoting staff welfare. Leading the HR team in the effective and efficient delivery of the People Strategy and operational plans. Ensuring that team members are motivated and developed to provide a comprehensive, professional and customer focused HR service. Act as a trusted and authoritative partner on all HR matters and an active member of the Senior Management Team, participating in corporate decision making and contributing to the formulation, implementation and monitoring of corporate strategies and organisational policies and procedures. Working with the Executive team to implement the People Strategy with the wider workforce, including volunteers, freelance examiners and representatives in other countries. Support the Deputy Chairman as Secretary to the Remuneration Committee (a sub-committee of the Governing Body).
