I remember the zeal when I handed the 200th box of biodegradable masks to my high school biology teacher. With the last box of masks my club ordered from a biodegradable mask manufacturer sold out, the realization of the power of passion for social impact struck me. As high school students, we successfully introduced biodegradable masks in our community, and this also marked the manufacturer’s first domestic sale, thereby broadening their market.Pursuing a double major in Quantitative Biology and Business Administration at USC, I aim to explore the intersection of these fields to create broader social impacts. I developed leadership, teamwork, and organizational skills through participating in MOVE, DataSC, and Nexus at USC. Additionally, I am gaining valuable experience currently working in a lab, studying the plasticity of corals, which has deepened my understanding of biological research and its applications.I am passionate about the intersection of biology, business, and nonprofits. My experiences in both fields have equipped me with a diverse skill set, including lab techniques, data analysis, and project management.
