About Claire Stuvland
Hi! I\'m Claire, a junior engineering student at Harvey Mudd College. I\'m excited about materials science for energy solutions. Currently, I\'m interested in applying my current skills and developing more by working on third-generation solar technologies that increase the amount of electricity we can harvest from the sun.Previously I\'ve interned in Prof. Van Ryswyk\'s research group working on lead sulfide quantum dot solar cells, and in Dr. Mike McGehee\'s research group working on thin film mechanics of perovskite solar cells. As part of my junior year clinic project, I have also worked on interfacial structure materials and geometries for AirMyne’s direct air capture process.Outside of school and work, I\'m probably either running, hiking, playing volleyball, or reading. I also love camping and backpacking with my friends. Feel free to chat with me about anything I\'ve mentioned above!
