As Internal Communications Manager for a dispersed workforce of over 1,600 colleagues across Scotland, I lead the development and delivery of an internal communications strategy that ensures every employee - including those in frontline - has access to relevant, timely, and engaging communication.As well as leading our internal communications strategy, I provide deputy support to both the Director of Communications and the External Communications Manager. Together, we align internal communication activity with wider business goals, organisational change, and cultural priorities.My responsibilities include- Creating high-quality content and communication materials across multiple formats and channels- Analysing internal audiences to ensure messaging is targeted, inclusive, and relevant- Developing and evolving communication channels to reflect the needs of different colleague groups- Planning and delivering proactive campaigns to engage and connect employees- Providing crisis communications support and managing sensitive internal messaging- Partnering with leaders and departments to advise on communication strategies and approaches- Building the overall channel infrastructure and evaluation framework- Ensuring all internal communications activity supports strategic business priorities and organisational success
