   Senior Director, Managed Care Services: Clinical, Technical and Centralized Denial TeamsI have worked in the health care industry for 25+ years serving both the payer and the provider. I joined MedAssets in 2002 to develop and lead the Denial Management Services team by providing oversight to both the clinical and technical denial departments. I am responsible for reporting regularly to the MedAssets denial clients on facility trends along with areas of improvement opportunity. I also participates regularly in her client’s denial task forces and actively presents at local HFMA sessions on denial related topics. From 2013 to 2015 I lead the Underpayments team, where I successfully spent two years improving the team and growing revenue. As of June 2015, I added the Centralized Denials team to my department. With the addition of the Centralized Denial team, I have direct responsibility for their growth and development as I continues to work on the build of the workflow system. Prior to my time with MedAssets, I spent 12 years with a TPA administering claims for three large companies, gaining extensive experience in payor process and procedure.
