Hi! I’m Claire, an HR professional with 3 years of experience in recruiting and business development in the healthcare and tech industries. I’m passionate about integrating HR strategies with business goals to drive organizational performance and create workplaces that inspire and engage employees. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Human Relations from the University of Oklahoma, where I participated in various leadership roles and campus organizations that helped me develop both my leadership and interpersonal skills. The Human Relations program had a profound impact on my personal and professional growth, emphasizing the importance of addressing barriers such as racism, sexism, homophobia, and ageism in our communities and workplaces. This passion for fostering safe and inclusive environments where employees can bring their true selves to work and thrive continues to drive my work today. In addition to my studies in Human Relations, my business coursework provided a strong foundation for my career, preparing me to navigate the challenges of an increasingly diverse and global workplace. After graduation, I gained experience in recruiting, onboarding, and performance management as a Recruiter and Business Development Manager. This exposure to HR inspired me to earn my SHRM-CP certification and return to school to pursue an MS-HRM at Texas A&M University. I’m particularly passionate about aligning HR practices with business strategy, and I have a strong interest in DEI, employee engagement, and talent management. I’m excited to continue expanding my HR expertise and exploring new opportunities in the field.
