ABOUT CLAIRE PATTERSON
I am an MBA candidate at the University of Windsor with a background in finance and economics, holding a Bachelor of Commerce from the same institution. My academic career has been complemented by hands-on experience in both corporate finance and treasury. At Hiram Walker & Sons Ltd, I worked as a finance intern, gaining exposure to accounts payable processes, ERP systems, invoice processing, audit support, and vendor account reconciliation. More recently, as a Treasury Intern at Mastronardi Produce, I’ve built skills in cash and risk management including budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and hedging strategies related to foreign exchange and interest rates. Outside of work and school, I’m committed to continuous learning, especially in areas like investing, financial derivatives, and financial technology. I plan to pursue the CFA designation as part of my long-term professional development.
