About Claire Kapitan
I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Hobart and William Smith Colleges with a B.A. in English and Studio Art, along with a minor in Italian Studies. I worked in the Davis and Solarium Galleries at the Colleges for three years. Last summer, I was awarded the Kemper Grant, which allowed me to intern with Kiwimbi International, an education-based NGO in Amagoro, Kenya. Previously, I interned at The Dove Block Project, a community arts center and gallery in Geneva, NY.
