Working cross functionally and with our 3PL partner I designed and commenced delivery of a future proof network structure for the high growth wholesale business, balancing investment, operating cost and operational change. Under PE ownership the balance across all 3 areas was key to getting approval. I delivered logistics inbound improvements to align Morrisons with the industry, through building relationships with our logistics partners and understanding the detailed ways of working across our data and systems to develop the required solution. Embedding data-driven methodologies to identify cost savings and support end-to-end business decision-making. Implementing advanced modelling (in the form of external simulation software) to provide insights into logistics operations, cost to serve and product flow.
