ABOUT CLAIRE J.
A skilled and adaptable Principal Engineer, with experience in implementing and overseeing comprehensive water and wastewater projects. I have a proven track record of exceeding performance expectations, remaining focused and adhering to budgets and timescales.My work has centred on a variety of water, wastewater, energy, waste and infrastructure projects. I am responsible for all aspects of hydraulic design (steady state and transient) on systems including; wastewater treatment works, water treatment works, water and wastewater transfer pipelines, storm and process systems. Along with other team members, from a variety of engineering disciplines, I routinely design and specify pipes, channels, mechanical plant (such as pumps, valves and fine screens), operating philosophies and commissioning procedures.My experience has also included facilitation of an Operational Readiness project to integrate a pioneering treatment process at a key wastewater treatment works in the North-West of England. Most recently, I have been focused on the WINEP flow driver programme including the monitoring of pass forward flows and determining required increases in flows to full treatment.
