In this role, I have worked closely with departments, funders, consultants, and community partners to secure over $200M in public and private funding for City initiatives. I am responsible for overseeing the development of large, complex federal and state grants, congressional earmarks, and grants from national and local foundations on aggressive timelines. This work involves funder outreach, convening and coordinating diverse stakeholders, managing timelines and drafting and reviewing deliverables in alignment with grant criteria. Additionally, I have led my team’s process improvement work since starting my role at the City. I completed my Lean Six Sigma Green Belt in 2019 and continue to advocate for better, more transparent policies and procedures within my team and across departments. I excel at managing projects and processes in coordination with other departments, external agencies, and community partners.
