ABOUT CLAIRE HOGAN
I was always going to be a public servant. a belief in great public services, positive outcomes for residents and strong communities have driven me in a career which has afforded me the experience of working in Central Government, Local Government and the Local Government Association.After nine years at the LGA - where I most recently led the sector improvement support offer to councils and developed the support offer for Local Government Reorganisation - I moved in Jan 2026, to Warrington Borough Council, to lead on the council\'s approach to transformation and continuous improvement, following the publication of the Best Value Inspection report and the appointment of Ministerial Envoys.I have worked on policy development, strategic planning, performance, improvement, transformation. leadership development and communications. I also have experience of developing cross sector partnerships and building relationships at local, regional and national levels.I love working in a politically led environment and continue to learn every day from the amazing people (officers and politicians) across local and central government. Hard work, high standards, kindness and respect are what guide me and my approach to leadership.
