I worked on the Barrington Yacht Club waterfront during the summers of 20••••21. I was initially a deckhand, in which my primary role was customer service and general boat maintenance, but I eventually obtained my launch license when I was 18 and my job expanded to include managing waterfront activities and driving members and guests throughout the harbor. This job tested my organization and decision-making skills, especially in heightened situations where we satisfied the demands of members, guests, and upper-level management, while still maintaining safe waterfront operations.
