I am always learning and growing. Hi there! I am a former special education teacher turned UX/UI Designer. I am passionate about pinpointing users\' pain points, using creative problem-solving, and creating visually appealing user-centered designs. Utilizing my background as a special education teacher, I can quickly assess and see where users are struggling and provide the empathy needed to understand their needs. When teaching, I constantly adapted and changed lessons to meet my neurodivergent students\' needs. Using my past experiences and a growth mindset, I know the value of ideation and how flexibly moving between the phases of the design thinking process creates the best design outcomes. I will always be learning and working towards my goal of empowering people through accessible, equitable, and inclusive user-centered designs. When I’m not working, I enjoy the outdoors, reading, baking, various art projects, and hanging out with my large and snuggly cats. I can\'t wait to connect with you!
