My role as Associate, with an Environmental Civil Engineering background, has provided me with extensive experience of managing and delivering major capital development projects across a range of sectors and varying client types, using different forms of contract. I have further developed my engineering skills and knowledge base, displaying capacity for procurement and management of design teams and various contractors, and establishing effective working relationships with them through my ability to engage with them on a technical level.I am a self-motivated and enthusiastic individual. I am tenacious, enjoy being part of a productive multi-disciplinary team and have a professional and confident approach whilst being able to work flexibly and develop positive working relationships. My experience to date has allowed me to progress and thrive with increased responsibilities in challenging working environments and display competence in all RIBA work stages, as well as in administering contracts ranging in scale and value, across a variety of sectors.Highlight Projects:• Purifier Studios - EastWorks - £12mEastWorks is a cutting-edge new development that will completely transform the disused Purifier Shed in Dalmarnock, Glasgow into high quality contemporary office space. • South Dalmarnock Integrated Urban Infrastructure Phase 4 - Public Realm Delivery £6.5m2017-22. The preparation of the detailed designs, procurement of contractors and undertaking the work packages for the upgrade of public realm, infrastructure, utilities and associated works for 6 strategic work packages in the area.• Cuningar Loop Woodland Park - £4.42mConstruction of a 15ha Forest Park on a once vacant and derelict piece of land with contamination, invasive and protected species issues. • Cuningar Loop Footbridge - £4.36mThe provision of a pedestrian and cycle bridge linking the new Cuningar Loop woodland park, in South Lanarkshire, with the Commonwealth Games Athletes Village and sporting facilities in Glasgow.• Smart Bridge - £5.09mThe provision of a Smart Bridge over the River Clyde, the bridge links areas of need and opportunity and in particular enhances the connectivity between Shawfield and Dalmarnock, which facilitates the carrying of a District Heating Network and an electric “smart” grid.• South Dalmarnock Phase1 - Masterplan refresh and site assembly (£1m), Phase 2- Site Investigation and Remediation (£1.3m) and Phase 3 - Integrated Utilities and District Heating Network(£2.7m)• UWS Dumfries Campus Relocation (£2m)
