ABOUT CLAIRE DRYLIE
Have You Filled a Bucket Today?\"That question has stuck with me far beyond childhood. To me, it means showing up with purpose, bringing positive energy, creating meaningful work, and contributing to something bigger than myself.Hello! My name is Claire Drylie, and I am a first-year honors marketing student at Miami University\'s Farmer School of Business. I’m creatively driven, focused on branding, strategy, and storytelling. Within the Centerville Marketing Program, I have gained experience in project management, customer service, and content creation. My primary knowledge is in the areas of marketing, finance, and entrepreneurship. This program has improved my leadership skills through the title of VP of Hospitality in the DECA chapter at Centerville. I created an integrated marketing campaign for a Dayton local non-profit organization looking to help job-seekers in need gain professional clothing and confidence. With this project, I competed in DECA at both the District and State levels. Additionally, I have experience through internships with the Centerville Education Foundation, creating social media content to raise money for our 19 local teacher grants, 12+ student scholarships and community outreach events. Currently, I am pursuing my bachelor’s degree, taking a diverse range of courses from Computer Science to Fashion. Thus far, I have collaborated with fellow students to research the ethics of fashion and learned more about how the cycle of production hurts the Earth. This has further sparked my interest in environmental science and brand ethics. Through my Creative Services and Fan Engagement Social Media internship with Miami University’s Athletic Department, I have seen the value of team visibility and how it impacts fan engagement. Through weekly event planning and social media marketing as a brand ambassador, I have worked to increase the Athletic Department’s engagement by over 30% so far. This tangible impact has motivated me to continue working towards more effective game day operations and collaboration across diverse teams.Beyond my professional and academic endeavors, I enjoy overall health and wellness. I am a distance runner who loves listening to lifestyle podcasts and practicing mindfulness. Recently, I competed at the Cross Country Pre-National Invitational at Mizzou, running a personal best time against a highly competitive field. Accomplishments such as this drive me to hold myself to a high standard, always doing my best work. I am always open to growing my professional network!
