ABOUT CLAIRE DONSE
I’m a French and Australian qualified lawyer and pro bono and responsible business leader with more than 10 years of experience in developing and delivering high impact pro bono projects globally. I have extensive experience working with governments in post-conflict and less developed countries and with international and national NGOs to bring about positive change on social, environmental and governance issues. I act as an advisor to corporates who are developing, responsible business programmes, and support sustainability and ESG initiatives. I lead DLA Piper\'s pro bono programme in Asia Pac, Europe, the Middle East and Africa. I’m co-director of New Perimeter, DLA Piper’s non-profit affiliate, and with the firm’s Global Scholarships Programme. I have a background in commercial litigation, and have lived and worked in Australia, the UK, China, the US and France, and run projects throughout Africa and Asia.
