ABOUT CLAIRE DEMARCO

I am a Senior at Fairfield University in Fairfield, Connecticut, originally from Malvern, Pennsylvania. I am a double major in Communication and English with a concentration in Professional Writing. I have experience in communication, writing, and marketing as a Marketing Events Intern for the EHS & ESG Company VelocityEHS and as a Content Creation Intern for the Global Fairfield Study Abroad Office. Since 2019, I have been involved with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s efforts as a fundraiser, Student of the Year Candidate, and now Student Visionaries of the Year Leadership Team Member. I have recently begun a position as a writer for the magazine \"The East Coaster\" where I contribute to the magazine\'s portfolio of pieces on health, wellness, travel, and personal development. At Fairfield University, I currently serve as the Administrative Chair of The Caroline House Junior Board and the Copyeditor for the Fairfield Student Newspaper, The Mirror. In addition, I am the Marketing Chair for the Fairfield University Office of Student Engagement Senior Year Experience Committee. I am also a member of the American Cancer Society Relay for Life Club, Humanitarian Action Club, and Be the Match Club. At the start of my junior year, I was inducted into the Alpha Sigma Nu Jesuit Honors Society at Fairfield University.
