SKILLS
ABOUT CLAIRE C. COLEMAN
With the completion of my Masters of Business Administration at Simon Fraser University, I have expanded my skills in change management and technology transformations. I will be continuing to hone those change management skills at Deloitte where I’m helping public sector organizations and private businesses enable their workforces to respond to change brought on by technology transformations and/or pivots in strategy impacting their organizational design. I launched my career in Washington, D.C. as a Lateral Partner Recruiting Coordinator and gained valuable experience in full-cycle of recruitment and onboarding of lateral partner, senior counsel, and associate attorneys in large international law firm. This experience introduced me to the importance that strategic recruitment, onboarding, and integration has on employee retention and organizational success while providing valuable insight on regulatory differences associated with recruiting candidates and acquisition targets in the UK, North America, Middle East and Asia.As I grow in my career I am honing my depth of knowledge in organizational change management and workflow process optimization. As I build skills in these areas I am supported by my preexisting skills in Qualitative and Quantitative Research and Data Analysis, Coordination and Communication, Critical Thinking and Problem Solving. I am passionate about promoting Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion within organizations and keeping those values at the forefront of all organizational transformation projects. My prior educational certification is a Bachelors of Arts Degree with double majors in Media Studies and Politics, and minors in Music Performance and Theology and Religious Studies from The Catholic University of America. While I pursued my MBA, I discovered an obsessive love of data (particularly demographic data), and a passion for macroeconomics, to the extent that it informs sound monetary policy decisions. I am always open to discuss how to make our community and workplaces more inclusive, monetary policy, or how to build excellent processes to integrate acquired employees.
