As an Instructor at Northern Karate Schools High Park, I lead classes for students aged 3 to adult, focusing on technique, confidence, and discipline. I adapt lessons to suit different age groups, mentor junior instructors, and assist with belt gradings and events. As Co-Director of the school’s Summer Camp, I oversee daily operations, create engaging programming, and lead a team to deliver a safe and fun experience for over 100 campers. This role has strengthened my leadership, organization, and communication skills.Along with that, the role has allowed me to: • Prepare grading materials and coordinate belt testing logistics, including tracking student progress and organizing certificates. • Answer parent inquiries about class schedules, fees, and student progress; conduct follow-up calls for absences, renewals, or feedback. • Manage attendance tracking and maintain up-to-date student records in the internal system. • Support new student onboarding and assist with registration, ensuring a positive first impression and smooth administrative process.
