Lead on designing and delivering a wide range of strategic operations for the Hartree Centre including being accountable for the Centres broad-reaching project portfolio. My role encompasses the direct leadership of all of the Centre’s operational and project delivery groups including strategy development, programme management, training initiatives, business support, budgeting, communications, impact management, and our science and business engagement teams.I am dedicated to cultivating a culture of operational excellence throughout the centre, continually working to develop and improve the professionalisation of our operations as well as project and service delivery. I led and delivered the creation of our Hartree 5-Year Strategy, which is now underpinned by pragmatic and achievable strategic delivery plans. In addition to leading a range of operational teams, I also hold accountability for our centre-wide budget management, people management, and programme management processes, while also ensuring the successful delivery of our leading industry training offerings and our world-class stakeholder impact and evaluation activities.A critical aspect of my role is taking leadership responsibility for the implementation and ongoing programme delivery of the Hartree National Centre for Digital Innovation. This ambitious five-year, £210M collaboration between STFC and IBM Research aims to deliver cutting-edge digital solutions that empower organisations across the UK to embrace novel and emerging technologies to drive growth.
