ABOUT CAITLIN MILLIS LAFONTAINE
I’m a learning and development programs professional with a background that bridges nonprofit leadership, higher education, and engineering. My work centers on creating high-impact training experiences that empower individuals, support teams, and advance strategic goals. As Assistant Executive Director of Phi Sigma Rho, a national STEM sorority, I developed and launched a volunteer training program to support our strategic growth initiative. This included a comprehensive suite of written and video trainings designed to equip volunteers with the knowledge and tools they needed to guide and mentor new chapters across the country. I collaborated with cross-functional teams to deliver content that was engaging, scalable, and grounded in our organizational mission.I’ve also served in a variety of educational roles, as a Graduate Instructor for an undergraduate entrepreneurship course, a research fellow in XR analytics related to online learning, and a student affairs intern, where I designed and facilitated learning experiences for college students, faculty, and staff in a medical school setting. I’m experienced in using LMS (Canvas, Articulate 360, EasyGenerator) and CRM (Salesforce) platforms, and other tools that support learner engagement and retention. With a bachelors in engineering and professional experience in the field, I bring a systems-oriented mindset to educational program development. My recently completed masters in Higher Education developed my skills in mixed-methods research, with a focus on professional development and learner support.Across every project, my goal is to help people not only build skills, but also gain confidence and clarity. I believe learning should be practical, personal, and empowering, and I aim to design experiences that reflect this.On a personal note, I am a wife, mom of 2, coffee enthusiast, frequenter of Michigan\'s \"Up North\" and die hard Detroit Sports Fan! My long term career goal involves supporting adult learners, and working for a mission-driven team.Email: l••••••••@gmail.com
