Firm Transitions was the first company I formed after earning my MBA. Having worked for a solo-practitioner out of college and having a family of attorneys, I recognized the need to help attorneys learn how to grow their firm and manage their workload more efficiently.In 2011, the company started as a legal placement company where I helped law firms find lateral attorneys, C-Level staff, and patent agents. While I did enjoy this process, I realized my strengths were more suited to helping consult and train attorneys on how to grow their firms. I put together the Firm Transitions Network and we have worked with a number of law firms from start-up to merger.Over the last few years, I have helped facilitate the various consulting efforts by our team and have personally focused on providing branding and knowledge management consulting to our clients. This enables me to work hand-in-hand with the management team and the internal or outsourced IT department.
