With over 25 years of work experience, I am a seasoned operations finance and FP & A professional with a passion for sustainability and innovation. I currently serve as the Vice President of FP & A at Primient, a leading producer of food and industrial ingredients made from plant-based, renewable sources. My mission is to provide strategic financial guidance and insight to support the company\'s growth, profitability, and social responsibility goals. I bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the team, having worked in various industries, such as automotive, printing, and consumer finance, and having taught accounting and finance as an adjunct professor for over 17 years.In my current role, I lead the financial planning and analysis functions for Primient, overseeing budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and business partnering activities, including commercial finance. I work closely with the senior management and cross-functional teams to evaluate and optimize the financial performance and operational efficiency of the company. I leverage my finance and analysis skills to ensure compliance, accuracy, and transparency of the financial statements and processes. I also contribute to the company\'s innovation and sustainability initiatives, by identifying and assessing new opportunities and risks, and by aligning the financial resources and strategies with the company\'s vision and values.
