ABOUT CHARALAMPOS KATSIS
My research focuses on network security and the application of machine learning to address security issues, with a particular emphasis on zero-trust network architectures. In these architectures, communications are governed by least-privilege, per-request access control policies, effectively limiting lateral movement within networks and addressing the inadequacies of traditional perimeter defenses. My work aims to drastically constrain an attacker\'s capacity to navigate the network, even if the perimeter defenses are breached. Additionally, I am developing novel techniques and frameworks that facilitate the specification, automated learning, and enforcement of security policies, ensuring robust and adaptable policy management across diverse network environments.
