As a child I would carry out a variety of experiments, dismantle every gadget I could get my hands on, observe and understand how it worked, enjoyed fixing anything that was faulty and would even attempt to improve on its original function. I made sure to learn from any mistakes, put a more efficient system in place to save time, and improve results on the projects I was working on.Many decades later and not much has changed.
