My role involves:Ensuring excellence in health and safety protocols on project sites and overseeing the administration of best practices.Adopting best practices in project management in alignment with Ecosystem’s culture and client needs.Managing the procurement of professional services, equipment, and subcontractors.Managing, negotiating, and awarding contracts to subcontractors in collaboration with the Senior Project Director and Construction Engineers.Coordinating the review of mechanical, electrical, and structural drawings to ensure feasibility of construction and coordinating contracts with trades.Overseeing day-to-day activities on construction sites, including the institution of health and safety protocols, trade coordination, identification of challenges, and associated problem-solving.Collaborating with the Project Coordinator and Construction Engineers to identify permit requirements and ensure timely project delivery.Managing a construction process in collaboration with Ecosystem’s design and construction team.Developing project schedules and identifying complex project risks and potential mitigation paths.Communicating on project progress, identifying project issues, and ensuring client satisfaction.
